Two weeks ago, Xiaomi announced a bunch of new products for the Indian market and one of the most anticipated ones for the masses was the Mi True Wireless Earphone 2. This was long in demand from Xiaomi's fans who wanted truly wireless earbuds at affordable prices. Xiaomi launched it at a price of Rs 4,500 but as an introductory offer, it extended a minor discount on earbuds, dropping the price to Rs 3,999. This price-based offer was supposed to be lifted but Xiaomi has now decided to extend the price benefit for two more days.

The introductory price of Rs 3,999 on the Mi Air True Wireless Earphones 2 will stay until May 20. The earbuds are available for pre-order on its website and this time, Xiaomi is accepting the orders from the Red zones. Delivery times may vary depending on logistics issue but Xiaomi sale is now open for all consumers across the country. Once the offer ends on May 20, the Mi Air True Wireless Earphones 2 will sell at a higher price of Rs 4,500.

At this price, the Mi Air True Wireless Earphones 2 competes with the Realme Buds Air earbuds, with the latter being priced at Rs 3,999. The Realme buds have similar design to the Mi Air True Wireless Earphones 2 and even offer similar battery life but Realme adds wireless charging capabilities on top and offers it at a slightly lower price.

Xiaomi in its defence says that it has tuned the Mi Air True Wireless Earphones 2 for better audio quality. The earbuds use bigger 14.2mm drivers and they even feature dual-microphone based noise cancellation. The earbuds are said to last five hours and the case takes up the backup further. The earbuds feature all-touch based playback controls but there's no control for volume. Xiaomi only sells the Mi Air True Wireless Earphones 2 in a single white colour variant.

Along with the Mi Air True Wireless Earphones 2, Xiaomi has also put the Xiaomi Mi 10 5G flagship on sale in India. The Mi 10 5G starts at Rs 49,999 and is Xiaomi's first 5G smartphone in India. It is also one of the few smartphones in the country to come with a 108-megapixel camera. The Mi 10 uses the same Snapdragon 865 chip as the new OnePlus phones and offers 30W fast wired as well as wireless charging. The Mi 10 5G is currently available with a discount of Rs 3,000 if you make the purchase via the HDFC Bank cards. No-cost EMI options for the Mi 10 start at Rs 8,333.
